The Institute, Kafka Centrum (2005)

Throughout the writings of Franz Kafka there is an underlying theme of strife between the characters and their environment, the world rules and the percepetion of those rules and between the characters misfortune and their reaction to it. Kafka has defined these extremes through his precisely vague style of writing which becomes a filtering device that constructs environments. The Institute manifests this polarity through a duality of extremes (magnetic force) and filterization (optical phenomenon).
